Second Life, the Godfather's Wife
At the ceremony naming the new head of the Moretti family, Eleanor's fiancé Lucian kills the family's leader while her jealous sister Vivian kills Eleanor out of envy, and both women die that day. A decade earlier, on that same date, they'd each started over: Eleanor sought a simple life and married a beggar, while Vivian wed Lucian. Unexpectedly, the beggar Vivian once mocked turns out to be a famous Godfather. After hardship, Eleanor ultimately becomes his wife.
