Lawrence, now 22, returns home after a decade in a psychiatric hospital following a violent episode where he hurt someone. He was raised by his privileged parents, Sarah and Liam, the chairwoman and husband of the Su Group, but suffered from bipolar disorder. Liam had recently died. On his bus ride, he encounters the Lilith family. Her son, Talon, demands Lawrence's laptop, which is smashed by Lilith. Lawrence retaliates, leading to a fight with her and her husband, Thorne. After escaping, Thorne dispatches security to confront Lawrence, who subdues them. Finally, Lilith reveals her cousinship with Sarah, threatening the entire Cloud City and Su Group. Lawrence, whose mother is Sarah, is confronted by her. Lawrence collapses in despair, with Sarah tearing his family photo. The bullying continues until Sarah arrives, leading to consequences for the Liliths.
